Better Bread

I had to get a picture of this loaf because it turned out much better than my previous one. I didn't punch all the gassy, yeasty air bubbles out of the last dough before the second rising, so there was a hole in the bread after it had baked from where the air bubble was. This loaf, however, turned out virtually perfect. Hurray!

It is BEAUTIFUL! I'm jealous :) The next step for me would be to try making home-made bread, but I don't know how to handle the kneading and all that.

karen, let's seriously get together and make homemade bread! i have a great cookbook that offers a recipe that is really fast and easy. the major commitment when it comes to bread making is letting it rise. i took some cooking classes in college and we had to make bread occasionally so i know a few tricks, but i need more practice. we should practice together and anyone else who wants to can join us. :)
