Yes, he just turned 4, and yes, it is that book! It's been a really good one for him to learn from. Although, this teaching him how to read experience has made me realize how difficult the English language can be with all our funny rules and sounds. He's catching on, though.
I agree. The rules make it tricky. I taught Seth to read from that book, too. We used it from the time he was 3 until right before he turned 5. Then it got too boring for him and he fought me way bad to read, so we switched over to stuff a little more racy. haha.
