Jacob's Birthday

 For Jacob's 2nd Birthday we took him to Chuck E. Cheese.  Although he had a good time, I think Vessel had way more fun than the birthday boy did. 

  

Back at home we ate birthday cake and ice cream and let Jacob open his presents.  He is into any toy that has wheels so I put some new trucks on his cake.  Cherry chip is a birthday tradition in Mike's family, so that's what I decided to make.

 My birthday party/going away party spread

We had a huge snow storm only a few days before our departure.  I think it was the universe's way of making sure we were good and ready to move.  

Jacob had a fun time experiencing the snow, even if it was only on our apartment balcony. 

 On my last night in Great Falls, two of my dear friends, Adrianna and Jenny, took me out to Cafe Rio.   

The view out my window as we drove out of the state.  I don't think I'll miss the snow for a very, very long time.
